On the Luftëtaret Mace page can I put the characters' name pronounciations next to their names when they're being listed? It's okay if the answer is no, I just figured that this may be helpful to people who don't know how to pronounce the names. (since we get strange names like Luleshtrydhe.)
hi, i edited the minto wiki page earlier with canon information, and it looks like you changed it back to how it was before? minto canonically has romantic feelings for zakuro. friends don't say "suki" and "daisuki" to each other, those are things you say to someone you like romantically. could you please leave it the way it is? it's very important information and representation for a lot of gay people like me!
"Suki" and "Daisuki" can also mean "like" and "like a lot". This is because the Japanese don't typically say "Aishiteru" since that word is way too strong. Friends say "suki" to each other all the time in Japanese, so it's not absolute proof. If there was any confirmation in canon, then I would keep it up. If she meant "Love" nothing really comes out of it. We don't know the extent of that love, so it's left up to interpretation. I can leave the details of what happened in the anime up but anything that's personal opinion or interpretation has to be removed.
i appreciate your dedication to keeping the wiki accurate and firmly canon, but may i at least edit the page to include the evidence from the anime/manga that she does have romantic feelings for her? including:
- her fawning over every aspect of zakuro's appearance, and being shown blushing with hearts in her eyes while thinking about her
- in episode 16, ichigo points out that minto has never had a boyfriend, and minto replies "you know, i... i'm so happy just to be with you, zakuro-sama!" set to an image of her floating dreamily across an image of zakuro
- her very intensely telling her that she loved her (whether platonic or not, it's worth noting, considering how intensely she admires zakuro as compared to her other friends)
i won't say that it's canon on the page, but i'll clarify that there are a lot of hints towards it, because i feel like it's not something that should be completely removed from the wiki. it's important information, because gay characters in media are so incredibly important for making gay people like me feel normal and accepted! :) i feel as though only describing her feelings for zakuro as an 'idolic admiration' is a little inaccurate, considering just how far that admiration goes. so can you please allow me to edit and include these hints on her page? it would mean a lot to me! (i'm also doing a rewatch of the series right now, so i'd love to add any more new info about mint and hints to her feelings that i find!)
I've seen a lot of kids anime that have the same types of fawning and admiration and sometimes it ends up being canon while others times it ends up just being extreme idol worship. However, you can put down all of your stuff and say that it's heavily implied. So I guess, I could've just said "Yes" XD.
